Koehler Ball Grinding Machine Services
Deasey Machine has been designing and manufacturing parts for the ball bearing industry since the early 1980's. Prior to founding Deasey Machine Tool & Die, Paul Deasey worked as a machinist, building Koehler ball grinding machines for Koehler and Sons in Philadelphia for more than two decades, beginning in 1955. Upon their closing, Mr. Deasey started his own business providing machine shop services. As the business continued to grow, he saw the opportunity for supplying parts and services to the ball bearing industry for the Koehler Ball Machine.
Deasey Machine has continued to expand it's services to include manufacturing parts for other makes of ball bearing machinery and ball processing equipment. What started out as a small family business, Deasey Machine has now grown to serve customers nationwide and internationally. Our experience and dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is second to none in this industry.
As a company's production requirements change, so do the applications of its tooling and the need to update its ball processing equipment. Hoppers
Fabricated from steel. Standard sizes available for 24", 30", and 36" Koehler ball machines. We also offer custom designed hoppers upon request.
Koehler Diamond Dresser Bar
Manufactured from tool steel and hardened. Precision machined and ground for close tolerance fit. Diamond dresser inserts are also available.
Pockets are made from cold finish steel, not castings. They are precision machined for close tolerances and precision fit.
Picker Bars
Manufactured from high quality tool steel then made to your specifications and heat treated. Sizes available to fit 24", 30", and 36" Koehler Ball Machines.
Feed Fingers
Manufactured from cold finish steel and heat treated. All feed bars are precision machined for precise fit. Sizes available to fit 24", 30", and 36" Koehler Ball Machines.
Complete Pocket Assemblies
Available for 34", 30", and 36" Koehler Ball Machines.
Guide Pin Bushings
Manufactured from cored bronze; machined for precision fit to guide pins.
Exit Chute
Exit chutes are made to customer's specifications and are available for 24", 30", and 36" Koehler ball machines.
Picker Bar Holders
Manufactured from cold finish steel. Sizes available to fit 24", 30", and 36" Koehler Ball Machines.
Conveyor System
Extra heavy duty gear box; no more twisted shafts. Heavy duty clutches, larger hubs and plates for longer operation. Sprocket shafts run in ball bearings, sealed from dirt and moisture with three seals. No brass bushings to grease or wear out. All sprockets have flame hardened teeth for longer wear. All wear tracks are precision ground for smooth operation. Conveyor frames are machined and precision ground. All conveyors are assembled and test run.
Rams
Re-designed to be stronger than original. 100% steel - no casings. Hard chromed, then precision ground for exact fit.
Conveyor Bucket
Buckets are precision ground as a set to maintain proper width; necessary for close adjustment to run small balls. All buckets are heat treated for longer wear. Stainless steel fasteners for strength and easier removal. Extra heavy spot welds and mig welded for added strength.
Brass Liner
Precision machined for precise fit. Sizes available to fit 24", 30", and 36" Koehler Ball Machines.
